British DPM was inspired by the handpainted WWII-era Dension camouflage pattern worn by British paratroopers and other special units. Postwar the British army moved away from camouflage until the 1960s. DPM was first developed in the early 1960s and first approved for general issue in 1968, making the UK the first NATO country to standardize on a camouflage uniform.
These pants are a favorite here at AP. They're incredibly comfortable due to their soft and light fabric blend. Their breathable fabric makes it possible to wear them in warmer weather.
That isn't where their upsides end, however. These pants come jam-packed with pockets. Two cargo pockets on each leg, two roomy waist pockets and a button closure rear pocket makes them perfect for carrying all your doodads.
