About Us

Americana Pipedream Apparel is a sporting goods store operating out of Appleton, a city in central Wisconsin. Located in the heart of the American Midwest, we believe in hard work, honesty and generosity. Our mission is to perpetuate American culture by providing the gear necessary for free, self-sufficient living in the modern day. Americana Pipedream deals mostly in military surplus, books, knives, camping gear and anything else related that catches our eye.

Americana Pipedream began as an aesthetic project on Instagram. Our goal was to bring the American Dream to life using vintage photographs and artifacts. From there, we began printing our own t-shirts. Our tees weren't the best quality, being handprinted by Logan in his basement, so we branched out into rendezvousing gear. Somehow that led to AP becoming a military surplus company, stocking everything from the staples like Flecktarn and Alpenflage to rarities like Irish DPM and various vintage patterns.

Meet The Founders

Americana Pipedream was originally founded by Logan McGrath in January of 2021. Logan graduated high school in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic, spending most of senior year out of school. He later began an education in history at Gettysburg College. Logan found college life to be restrictive, expensive and unnecessary. After leaving Gettysburg College and finding that he had no desire to return to his previous job, Americana Pipedream was born. He began working full-time for the company in January of 2021.

Aiden, Americana Pipedream's second owner, came on board just a few months after the company was founded. Between going to college for business-related studies and working another job, he made time to pack orders, make marketing content and much, much more. 

Logan and Aiden, having gone to both middle and high school together, now both work full-time for Americana Pipedream. Since the founding of the company, they've taken on all the work that comes with a growing business. Together they've cultivated a community built around the outdoors, military surplus and its history.

Sourcing products, creating marketing material, fulfilling orders and performing customer service occupies much (if not most) of their time. Love of the outdoors, a desire to never work a 9 to 5 job again, and a dream of one day owning land, homesteading and leading a life close to nature motivate our passion for Americana Pipedream and its community.

Americana Pipedream's Policies

SHIPPING / FULFILLMENT POLICY

Americana Pipedream strives to fulfill orders within a five business day fulfillment period, shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS DHL eCommerce and FedEx. Shipping speed or type purchased starts once order is fulfilled. In case of damage to the contents of your package or the loss of items during shipping, we will replace it at no cost to you after a lost or damaged claim has been filled and approved by the carrier. Americana Pipedream does ship internationally, but the cost may be higher due to USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL rates. Fulfilment times and shipping times are not guaranteed for all orders and may be affected by holidays, extreme weather, or other such events as store sales and increased order volume. All international orders are responsible for any and all Import Duties and or charges incurred. Americana Pipedream is not responsible for any law, regulation, or trade restriction in other countries regarding its products and or products sold by Americana Pipedream Apparel LLC.

We do our best to minimize sorting, quality control and fulfillment issues. However we are not perfect and this happens time to time. If this happens and we dont have the item to send out, Americana Pipedream reserves the right to refund/cancel or hold the fulfillment. You will be contacted via email about any items removed or canceled by our automated email reply. If we hold your shipment you will be emailed by our help@americanapipedream.com or another @americanapipedream.com email!

APO Addresses - Must use USPS. If customer purchases an alternate service, Americana Pipedream Apparel LLC reserves the right to change the service to USPS or alternative service.

PO Box Addresses - Must use USPS or a partnered shipping service with USPS such as UPS Surepost that has USPS drop off the package. If customer purchases an alternate service Americana Pipedream Apparel LLC reserves the right to change the service to USPS or alternate shipping service. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

ANY SERVICE SELECTED AS USPS MAY AND WILL SHIP DHL eCommerce. DHL eCommerce is a proud partner with USPS and offers the same style services as USPS.

MEXICO - WE CAN NOT SHIP ANY USED OR ISSUED GOODS TO MEXICO. We are not responsible for any shipment to Mexico that are rejected or held at customs for being "used" goods. Customer is responsible for shipping cost incurred if package is rejected at customs. please reach out to help@americanapipedream.com for any questions.  

DHL eCommerce -

DHL eCommerce Parcel International Direct - Supports DDP. A DDP shipping label indicates that the seller has included payment for duties, import tax, and brokerage fees.

DHL eCommerce Parcel International Standard - Does not support DDP. Shipments with DHL eCommerce Parcel International Standard must be sent as delivered duty unpaid (DDU), which indicates that duties, import tax, and brokerage fees have not been paid, and are collected from the customer at delivery.

DDP SHIPPING IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO SELECT COUNTRIES LISTED BELLOW 

Canada, Australia, European Union, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom.

Americana Pipedream Apparel has the right to change chosen service at any time for any order! If service selected is not compatible with desired shipping destination or the rate of service selected exceeds the cost by 25% we will chose an alternative shipping service with in the cost payed by customer. If there is no alternative service with in the cost paid, Americana Pipedream will reach out via help@americanapipedream.com or another @americanapipedream.com email. 

All customers shipping to destinations outside the U.S. are responsible to know the locations countries import laws and regulations. Americana Pipedream is not responsible for any damages, fees, or cost incurred once the package has been handed off to one of our shipping partners. Americana Pipedream will not refund shipping if package is sent back for rejection or address issue. Please email help@americanapipedream.com for any questions.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

All our products are protected by the Americana Pipedream Fit & Function Guarantee. If any items in your order are unsatisfactory in terms of fit or function, please contact us. We will be happy to provide any assistance necessary to ensure your experience shopping at Americana Pipedream will be enjoyable, helpful and memorable.

We will be happy to provide cancelation and or returns for all US customers, for any order issues please contact us by email help@americanapipedream.com. If your item is damaged upon arrival or missing, contact us and we will be happy to send a refund or a replacement. If item is lost from damaged package, package/order is lost or item is damaged from shipping. Will issue a refund after a claim has been filled and approved by the carrier. However, if you wish to complete a return and/or refund your purchase, the request must be sent and received to help@americanapipedream.com within 30 days of order delivery date. Americana Pipedream Apparel reserves the right to limit or deny return/exchanges. For all international customers returns and refunds are permitted only if item is defective or damaged during shipping/freight. KNIVES AND TOBACCO PARAPHERNALIA POLICY

Americana Pipedream does not sell knives or tobacco paraphernalia to any persons under the age of 18. Americana Pipedream Apparel LLC reserves the right to refund, cancel, and deny all and any sale to persons under the age of 18 with the intent to purchase such products. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.

PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

We stand by our prices, always striving to bring the best and most competitive prices in the military surplus industry. At this time, we do not adjust prices after an order has been placed.
