OG-507 was the replacement for OG-107. It began being issued in the mid-1970s, and was phased out in favor of the M81 Woodland Battle Dress Uniform.
OG-507 was still worn as a utility or fatigue uniform by some personnel until 1989.
OG-507 can be distinguished from the earlier OG-107 by its bright yellow tags and softer feel due to its cotton/polyester material.
