These greatcoats are WWII British military issue. Extremely uncommon to find, this pattern first began being issued in 1940. The majority of these coats date from 1943-45, but a few earlier production examples have been mixed in.
Issued; Good examples are in perfectly functional and wearable condition. No holes, missing buttons, etc. Pattern 1940 Greatcoats in this condition are extremely desirable collectors' pieces.
Issued; Serviceable examples will have cosmetic defects, holes, tears, missing or broken buttons, etc. These work well for collectors or vintage clothing enthusiasts with knowledge of clothing repair.
