Unissued Italian MOD02 Desert Uniform Set
The Italian Desert camo pattern known as "mimetico deserto" was original created for Italian solders during the United Nations Operation II in Somalia (UNOSOM II) from 1993 to 1995. Italy was inspired by trends set from France, United States, and Great Britain. They fell in love with the pattern and made it their standard issue for desert gear around 2006. Today it is still a favorite and current issue of Italian forces serving in arid climates. Mimetico deserto has made its way to the civilian market, paving fashion trends. It’s sought after by camo enthusiast and is loved by hunters all over the world.
