If you're looking to complete your East German kit with an authentic Nationale Volksarmee canteen you've come to the right place.
This East German canteen comes complete with a Strichtarn cover and cup. The leather strap functions as a belt loop and secures the cup in place atop the canteen.
These have been stored since the fall of the DDR, expect some fading or staining from storage. The vast majority of this batch were issued to East German soldiers, so expect some signs of field use as well.
We do not recommend using this canteen for drinking or storing liquid. The canteen itself is made of plastic and may have deteriorated over the decades. We sell these for display purposes only.
