The webbing loops around the body like a harness. During the early years of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, slings like this were a common sight on M4s and M16A4s because a soldier could let go of the rifle without it dropping or swinging loose. Simpler two-point quick-adjust slings later took over, such as the Vickers sling the Marine Corps issued with the M27.

The transition to higher speeds and further simplified slings makes the three-point sling an iconic piece of 2000s kit. Perfect for your GWOT LARP or your contemporary kit, these slings are ready to attach to just about any AR platform weapon in your unnecessarily vast arsenal. Whether it's airsoft or an actual rifle, you're sure to become the self-taught Navy SEAL.
