
The 3-Color Desert pattern was adopted in the early 1990s to replace 6-Color Desert, or Chocolate Chip. While some experimental pieces made it to troops during Desert Storm, large-scale production wouldn't spool up until the mid-1990s. By the time the Iraq War began, 3-Color Desert was standard issue and widely available.
These pants are made from a 50/50 nylon/cotton blend and feature a total of six pockets, ankle ties, reinforced knees and reinforced butt. They are in brand new, unissued condition.
