LARPing? Inexpensive head protection? Target practice? Growing your collection of surplus? These Yugoslav steel helmets can be used for literally anything. Our selection of decals includes the original Yugoslav People's Army Red Star, several varieties of Serbian decal, and helmets without any markings.
The Yugoslav M59 was first adopted in the late 1950s.
Inspired by the Spanish M34, German M42 and American M1 helmets, they were in use until the 1990s when replaced by a more modern kevlar helmet.
These helmets saw widespread combat during the Yugoslav Wars in the hands of many different factions. This batch comes directly from surplus depots in Serbia, meaning that the majority will have Serbian decals, writing, names or other character marks on them.
