These Romanian coats are worn by officers and instructors at the Academia Navala "Mircea cel Batran", a Romanian military academy responsible for higher-level training of the Romanian Navy's officer corps. They also train Romanian Coast Guard and Merchant Marine personnel. The academy was first established in 1872 under a different name. It was disbanded during WWI but reorganized in 1920.
These coats may or may not come with patches.
