This camouflage pattern is one of the more interesting to come out of Africa in the 1970s. The pattern was originally developed in the Republic of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) for use by the Kamanyola Division. This pattern was also seen in use with various foreign special forces units while training inside Zaire.
