During the 1990s and early 2000s Romanian troops sometimes wore solid color uniforms. This was part of a transitionary period in Romanian military uniforms, where various domestic camouflage patterns such as M1990 "Leaf" and M1994 "Fleck" were adopted. Eventually, the Romanian military opted to adopt a variant of DPM and all of these patterns were phased out.
